“The Ringing of the Abyss”, a new short story, has been chosen for inclusion in the 2021 anthology “Challenge from Beyond” which features a collection of micro-shorts, and is released in tandem with the annual H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival.

To write compelling fiction in 500 or fewer words is a challenge for anyone, but this particular story unfolds quickly, all starting with the cutting down of a cherry tree and rapidly ending up in an inky abyss. It happens that way sometimes.
